Idea for blog at 3 AM, + a little about me
Hello everyone, it is currently 3 AM as I type this. I just came up with this idea that i should go back to blogging, yes Ive had blogs in the past, they haven’t been successful because of one main thing, lack of readers. At that point, I didnt have a twitter account or a myspace, facebook, or anything else, I was just a bored teenager who blogged about stupid stuff, my blogs in the past have always been on certain topics, like once it was MLB trivia http://springtrainingandwbcjottings.mlblogs.com/ , once it was the Olympics I don’t have a link for that one, and once it was fire incidents in my area.
My idea for this one, the idea I remind you, that came at 3 AM on Christmas eve, is too blog on more than one thing, really to blog on what comes to my mind, what is going on, or anything else really! If a news event has happened, maybe ill blog that, if my family has an interesting Christmas dinner, maybe ill blog that. If I find something funny on the Internet, maybe ill blog that! And id love to get your comments in as well, I CANNOT do this blog without you! Without your comment I feel I am writing to no one, and I will feel alone, ALL ALONE!!!!!!!!!!
Now, let me tell you a little about myself, something that ive not been able to do much on twitter. My name is Al Boe and I am 18 years old, I have 1 older sister, who is 21 and pregnant with her first child. I am a senior in High School in San Mateo, California. I live in Hayward, California however, which is right across the bay. I didnt know my dad until I was almost 15 and we are building a relationship. I go over to his house on Thursdays and Fridays, until I was 18, this was part of my mother and fathers joint custody of me. But now, I continue it to further our relationship. He lives in a duplex with his girlfriend, and the other house is his girlfriends family, her Mother, sister, brother-in-law, Niece, and nephew. The other 5 days a week I live at home with my Mother, Grandmother, and sister, yes ALL girls! I have been with my current girlfriend for 3 and a half months now, her name is Rebecca. Hopefully soon to be Rebecca Boe! HEHE. I volunteer at Sunrise Senior Living in San Mateo, and have been since March. I volunteer 4 days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. About 20 hours a week.
In the past year things have been great for me. In August I started helping out David Jon Sponheim. A write-in candidate for the office of President Of The United States this year. As I started working harder and harder for me and as my interest in journalism heightened, I was officially offered the role of Press Secretary for his campaign, of course I gladly accepted. I was in that role full time until November 2008 when I started speaking with Michael Van Poppel, creator of BreakingNewsOn and BNO news (www.twitter.com/BreakingNewsOn) we started talking over Google Talk daily and he started trusting me to do more and more stuff, when in December of 2008 he made me the newest editor of BreakingNewsOn. That is my current role and I love it! I am also helping David Jon Sponheim still but only on a part time level.
